Burkina Faso : Opération contre la consommation de stupéfiants
Following a citizen report, the Municipal Police carried out an operation at the Rood-Wooko market on Friday, October 3, 2025, targeting suspected cases of drug use.
The intervention led to the arrest of several young people, who were then handed over to the relevant services for investigation.
This action is part of the fight against the trafficking and consumption of illicit substances in public spaces. The police welcomed the cooperation of citizens and called on young people to avoid these practices, which are harmful to their health.
