Burkina Faso : Sa Majesté le Mogho Naaba s’engage pour l’intégration des Afro-descendants
During a visit to the royal palace of Ouagadougou on November 4, 2025, a delegation of Afro-descendants was received by His Majesty the Mogho Naaba Baongo as part of an initiative to return to African roots.
The visitors expressed their admiration for Burkinabè culture and their desire to reconnect with their roots, also praising the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré. They sought the sovereign's blessings and support to facilitate the integration of the diaspora in Burkina Faso.
The Mogho Naaba welcomed this initiative, which he considers promising for a reconciled Africa, and pledged to support the settlement and participation of Afro-descendants in the country's development.
