Burkina Faso : Saisie de fils et pagnes tissés importés illégalement
The Mobile Brigade for Economic Control and Fraud Repression (BMCRF) of Burkina Faso seized several batches of weaving yarn and woven loincloths imported without authorization in the capital and various regions of the country.
In a statement published on November 12, 2025, the brigade specifies that these products were introduced onto the market in violation of the regulations in force.
This operation aims to protect consumers and promote compliant local products, in particular Filsah brand weaving yarn, the only one authorized for marketing on the national territory.
