Burkina Faso : saisie de plus de 20 kg de cannabis
The Burkinabe national police announced on Thursday, September 25, 2025, the arrest of several individuals in possession of more than 20 kg of cannabis during a security search at the Tambolo police station in Pô.
According to the press release, the traffickers transported the drugs from a neighboring country, hidden in suitcases and bags among clothing, before selling them in Ouagadougou. The value of the seizure is estimated at 2.3 million CFA francs.
The police thank the public for their cooperation and urge them to continue to report any suspicious activity.
