CAN Maroc-2025 : L’Angola et le Zimbabwe se neutralisent
Having been beaten by South Africa and Egypt respectively on the first day, Angola and Zimbabwe faced off this Friday for the second day of Group B. A match which ended in a draw (1-1).
Gelson Dala opened the scoring for Angola in the 24th minute. Despite this lead and a slight advantage, the Palancas Negras were unable to extend their lead. In first-half stoppage time, Zimbabwe managed to snatch an equalizer (45+2).
In the second half, despite several chances for both sides, the score remained unchanged. The two teams thus parted ways with a draw, a result that benefits neither side in the race to qualify for the round of 16.
