Gabon : un ancien international retrouvé mort
Former Gabonese international Yrondu Musavu-King has died at the age of 34. Found dead in Libreville under circumstances that are still unknown, the former defender, who played for Caen, Toulouse, and Lorient, among others, leaves behind the memory of a well-liked and respected player.
Gabonese football is in mourning following the death of Yrondu Musavu-King. The former international defender, who earned 12 caps for the Panthers of Gabon, was found dead in Libreville at the age of 34.
According to reports in La Dépêche du Midi, his body was discovered behind a house in the Gabonese capital, under circumstances that remain unclear. An investigation is expected to determine the exact cause of his death.
Trained at Stade Malherbe Caen, Yrondu Musavu-King enjoyed a distinguished career, notably playing for Caen, Lorient, Toulouse, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Le Mans, and the Italian club Udinese. He ended his professional career in 2022 after a final stint in India.
