Guinée : une femme interpellée avec 62 kg de chanvre indien
As part of the ongoing fight against drug trafficking, officers of the Special Intervention and Protection Brigade (BSIP) of the Kamsar central police station arrested a woman on Monday, October 13, 2025, in possession of a bale of Indian hemp weighing a total of 62 kilograms.
According to information provided by the National Police General Directorate, the operation took place during a routine patrol in the Bagataye sector, in the Kamsar-centre district, in the rural commune of Kamsar.
Thanks to the vigilance and responsiveness of the officers, this large quantity of drugs was intercepted before it was put into circulation.
The identity of the suspect has not yet been made public. She was immediately taken into custody, pending further investigation by the relevant authorities.
This operation is part of the strengthening of national police action against drug trafficking, a phenomenon that is on the rise in certain areas of the country.
