Hilda Baci bat le record Guinness du plus grand plat de riz Jollof jamais cuisiné : La réaction de la première dame du Nigeria
Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has succeeded. She has set another Guinness World Record after cooking the world's largest jollof rice dish. To achieve this feat, Ms. Baci needed 4,000 kg of rice, 600 kg of onions, 500 cartons of tomatoes, 168 kg of goat meat, and a very large quantity of spices and oil. In total, this dish weighed 8,780 kg when weighed by crane.
Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, sent her a message of congratulations.
Hilda has “shown what young Nigerian women can achieve with hard work…”
For the wife of the Aso Rock tenant, Hilda is a source of inspiration and pride for Nigeria. “Your passion, resilience, and creativity in showcasing one of Nigeria’s most beloved dishes on the world stage is inspiring. Your artistry in culinary techniques has not only brought pride to our beloved nation but also gained national and global recognition,” the senator wrote.
For her, Hilda has "shown what young Nigerian women can achieve with hard work, determination and innovative power."
It should be remembered that the Nigerian chef had already broken the Guinness record for the longest "individual cooking marathon" in May 2023, after cooking for more than 93 hours.
