Kaolack : La Fonction publique locale au menu d'un atelier
A regional workshop bringing together numerous local stakeholders from the region was organized in Kaolack by the National Center for Local Public Service and Training (CNFPLF), under the leadership of Governor Mouhamadou Moctar Watt and the CNFPLF's Director General, Alioune Kébé. Its objective was to promote a framework for dialogue and concerted collaboration with local stakeholders for the successful implementation of the local public service.
The participants thoroughly reviewed the achievements and limitations of the process. The Director General of the CNFPLF outlined the purpose of this regional meeting. "Through this HR dialogue, the aim is to contribute significantly to the correct and effective implementation of the national policy on decentralization and territorial development, in light of the new directions of the National Transformation Agenda Senegal 2050, which, with regard to decentralization, are being led by the Ministry of Urban Planning, Local Authorities and Development," he reminded them.
Alioune Kébé called for a constructive, productive, and inclusive dialogue among local stakeholders: “It has become clear that to achieve successful implementation of this reform in our local communities, all stakeholders at the local level—decentralized administrative authorities, elected officials, staff, public payers, decentralized services, social partners, and the CNFPLF—must come together to discuss effective measures. Hence the organization of regional HR dialogue workshops.”
The governor responded to this question by emphasizing the ongoing dialogue among regional stakeholders in Kaolack. He promised to personally monitor this process.
