Mali : La diaspora de France dénonce des campagnes médiatiques hostiles au pays
The Collective of the Malian Diaspora in France condemns "the proliferation of biased media campaigns" waged, according to them, against Mali. In a statement published on Monday, November 10, 2025, the collective accuses several French and European media outlets, including RFI, "Jeune Afrique," and "Le Monde," of disseminating "biased, incomplete, or deliberately sensationalist" information aimed at manipulating public opinion.
These practices, according to Malians living in France, "seriously undermine the fundamental right to free, honest, and balanced information." The signatories believe they constitute "manipulation of national and international public opinion," with the aim of "destabilizing Malian institutions" and "sowing doubt."
The group reiterates that the media's mission is "to inform, not to influence," and warns against the transformation of certain newsrooms into "relays for economic or political interests."
Furthermore, the Malian diaspora calls on journalists to "practice their profession in accordance with ethics and the veracity of facts," and invites citizens to "develop a critical mind in relation to sources of information."

Deukou diambour, mout mba moot.
