Mali : Plus de 756 camions-citernes remplis de carburant sont arrivés à Bamako
In Mali, authorities are continuing their efforts to ensure the country's hydrocarbon supply. According to the Directorate General of Trade, Consumption and Competition (DGCC), more than 756 tanker trucks filled with fuel arrived in Bamako on Monday, June 1st, under heavy military escort.
Customs officials, the police, and the DGCC (Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control) worked diligently to ensure that the shipments reached service stations in Mali's capital as quickly as possible. The goal was to bolster the city's fuel supply.
It is worth recalling that Mali was facing a fuel crisis a few months ago due to attacks by jihadist groups against convoys of tanker trucks that transport fuel to different regions of the country.
