Niger : Bilan de l’attaque terroriste contre la base de drones de Tahoua
In Niger, Air Base 401 at Tahoua Airport was the target of a terrorist attack on the night of Sunday, March 8 to Monday, March 9, 2026. The assailants, who arrived on motorcycles, stormed the military airfield, opening fire on the occupants.
The vigorous response from the soldiers present repelled the attack. However, some material damage was reported.

He assures that the situation is now under control. The population is going about its business as usual, and the airport remains open and secure.
An investigation has been opened.
