Présidentielle en Côte d'Ivoire: Le Conseil constitutionnel proclame les résultats définitifs
In Ivory Coast, the Constitutional Council, after examining the requests and the minutes, validated on Tuesday, November 4, the regularity of the Presidential election of October 25 and proclaimed the final results.
Unsurprisingly, incumbent President Alassane Ouattara was re-elected with 89.77% of the votes cast.
The start of a fourth 5 -year term
The institution headed by Chantal Nanaba Camara thus confirms the provisional results of the election, proclaimed at the end of October by the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI).
This overwhelming victory for Mr. Ouattara in the first round of voting allows him to serenely begin his 4th 5-year term at the head of the country.
A participation rate of 50.10%
It is worth recalling that the main opposition figures, namely Tidjane Thiam and Laurent Gbagbo, did not participate in this election, as their names had been removed from the electoral register. They denounced this situation, as well as the "unconstitutional" fourth term of the outgoing president.
The voter turnout for this Ivorian presidential election is estimated at 50.10%. At least, that's what the official figures indicate.

J'en pince pour Tidiane Thiam. Non pas à cause de son patronyme qui sonne senegalais mais parce qu'il a un cerveau, un carnet d'adresse et qu'il est déjà riche. Il est dans la haute finance et saura faire des pas de plus a la côte divoire. Sauf qu'il s'y est pris tardivement.
Le taux de participation est très faible (a peine un électeur sur 2) et c'est pourquoi Ouattara après les Législatives devrait mettre en place un gouvernement ouvert et préparer sérieusement cette fois son départ. On ne peut diriger continuellement un pays. 87 %×50,10 % cela veut dire qu'un ivoirien sur 3,5 a voté pour lui
