Présidentielle en Côte d’Ivoire : Quand Ouattara lorgne l’électorat de Gbagbo
While presiding over the inauguration ceremony for members of his campaign leadership on Thursday, October 2, Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara announced that he would launch his campaign next Saturday in Daloa. This central-western town, like Soubré and Gagnoa, is located in Bete country. It is particularly unfavorable to Alassane Ouattara.
The Bété country is generally considered the electoral stronghold of Laurent Gbagbo (originally from Gagnoa).
By deciding to launch his campaign in Daloa, it is clear that the presidential candidate is eyeing the electorate of his predecessor, already excluded from the presidential race.
Indeed, the Constitutional Council has decided to reject Laurent Gbagbo's candidacy on the grounds that he was not registered on the electoral roll. His historic stronghold will therefore be the object of much covetousness during the election campaign.

Et puis gagnoa, daloa, et soubre sont des villes de la cote d'ivoire et non du senegal.
