CONAKRY – With just days to go before the swearing-in ceremony of the President of the Republic, scheduled for January 17 at the General Lansana Conté stadium in Nongo, preparations are well underway.
On Monday, January 12, 2025, the Head of State, Mamadi Doumbouya, made an unannounced visit to the Operational Command Post for Internal Security (PCO-SI),
"Firm and clear instructions"
During this visit, President Doumbouya not only observed the ongoing operations: he also guided the final stages of preparations.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the Head of State gave firm and clear instructions, particularly on security issues and the smooth flow of movement during the event.
Colonel Doumbouya stressed the need to guarantee a climate of serenity and trust, both for the distinguished guests and for the people who will take part in this historic ceremony.
