This trend highlights increased activity in the region, even if the average transaction amounts remain moderate, revealing a market in full consolidation but still cautious.
Despite the rise of electronic platforms, checks continue to dominate in value, representing more than 70% of transactions. Wire transfers and other modern instruments remain in the minority, highlighting the persistence of traditional practices within the regional financial system.
