Togo : Patrice Neveu prend les rênes des Éperviers
The Togolese Football Federation has officially appointed a new coach to head the national A team. In a press release, the Togolese Football Federation announced the appointment of Patrice Neveu as coach of the Hawks of Togo.
This choice comes at the end of a rigorous process that involved reviewing several applications from experienced candidates. According to the FTF, competence, experience, and strategic vision were key criteria in evaluating the applicants. Patrice Neveu, former coach of Guinea, DR Congo, and Mauritania, was selected for his technical and tactical skills, his extensive experience in top-level football, and his in-depth knowledge of the African football landscape.
Conducted in close collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, this process reflects the shared commitment of sports organizations and public authorities to provide the national team with top-level technical coaching. The objective is clear: to enable the Hawks to ambitiously meet the challenges ahead on the African and international stages. It should be noted that the Togolese national team has not participated in the last four editions of the Africa Cup of Nations.
