In the health and social protection sector, the State aims to guarantee dignity for every citizen. Therefore, through the 2026 budget, it has decided to strengthen the healthcare system by building 35 health centers in rural areas, recruiting 2,500 healthcare professionals, and digitizing the national healthcare system.

What will be done in the agricultural sector

According to the minister, the 2026 budget will support "agricultural transformation through the mechanization of family farms, input subsidies, the promotion of local products, and the revitalization of the rice, peanut, horticultural, and fish farming sectors." He stated that community agricultural cooperatives will be the cornerstones of this transformation process.

The Great Water Transfer Project and Co.

In the area of Water and Sanitation, the 2026 Budget will finance the Great Water Transfer project, the construction of the Grande Côte desalination plant and the establishment of new programs against flooding.

Phase 2 of the regional express train (TER), road and rail projects...

Regarding infrastructure, transport and connectivity, the 2026 budget provides for the financing of the second phase of the TER, the modernization of AIBD and the rehabilitation of regional airports.
