Fonctionnement des CRFPE : La grogne du Collectif des formateurs du moyen secondaire du Sénégal ( COFOMSS)
For several years now, the Collective of Secondary School Teacher Trainers in Senegal (COFOMSS) has been fighting to improve their working conditions. Open letters to the authorities, declarations, requests for meetings with the supervisory body, meetings with unions—nothing has been left to chance in their efforts to restore dignity to teacher trainers. But so far, the trainers have seen no significant progress.
So, on Wednesday, they decided to hold a press conference at the headquarters of the Autonomous Union of Secondary School Teachers of Senegal (SAEMS). They are demanding, firstly, the granting of a job and supervision allowance; secondly, the immediate payment of the distance learning supervision allowance; and finally, the presence of their representative on the trainer selection committee and the inclusion of PEAM (Professional Development and Support for Teachers) in the trainer recruitment process.
As a reminder, the trainers' mandate includes continuing education for teachers, initial training for student teachers, and diploma-granting training for primary and secondary school teachers.

C'est une belle vision, mais il faut en garantir la réalisation à travers des comportements adéquats.
