Inauguration de deux nouvelles salles de classe modernes et bien équipées pour les élèves de l’école primaire P1b de Diamaguène Sicap Mbao
This Tuesday, October 21, 2025, during the inauguration ceremony, the students of the P1b Gare de Diamaguène Sicap Mbao primary school discovered their new classrooms, spacious, airy and bright .
They replace old, overcrowded and poorly ventilated rooms, which made learning difficult.
Children now benefit from an environment conducive to success, and teachers from a more peaceful setting in which to pass on their knowledge.
This achievement is part of the program of construction and rehabilitation of primary schools led by the Chemical Industries of Senegal (ICS) in their intervention areas in accordance with the priorities expressed by the stakeholders including the administrative authorities.
This program aims to eliminate temporary shelters and unsanitary classrooms, in order to provide primary school students with dignified and equitable learning conditions.
To date, 37 modern classrooms have already been delivered in the municipalities of Darou Khoudoss, Taïba Ndiaye, Pire, Méouane, Mboro and Mbao, with a target of reaching 50 classrooms by the end of 2026.
The results are already visible: improved success rates, increased motivation among teachers and renewed hope for families.
By placing education at the heart of their CSR policy, the ICS contribute to reducing territorial inequalities and preparing the future of younger generations.

si des anciens élèves ont pu rénover une école à DK Plateau alors franchement une grande industrie doit etre obligée de faire beaucoup plus ! comme on dit en langage scolaire PEUT MIEUX FAIRE
