''Missions on Education''. This is the title of the new book by Boubacar Mohamed Racine Sy. After the publication of his books: ''Senegal under political laser'' in August 2023, then ''Presidential 2024 in Senegal: Checkmate in June 2024,''' both published by Harmattan Editions, the established author announces the upcoming publication of his new work entitled: ''Let's bet on education''.

This work, he says, is a continuation of his commitment as both an intellectual and a citizen. The book has been enriched by the enlightened contributions of several eminent personalities of our country: • Associate Professor of Law Abdoulaye Sakho kindly agreed to write the preface.

Professor Mouhamadou Mounirou Sy provided the foreword. • The honorable MP Aïda Thérèse Seck, also a teacher, wrote the afterword. The book "Missions on Education" deals with major themes at the heart of our collective future.

The book's summary highlights the book's appeal in these terms: ''In a context marked by uncertainties and social divisions, this book stands out as a vibrant plea to rebuild Senegal through education. Let's Bet on Education is a strong call to place education and instruction at the heart of Senegal's sustainable development. The author intelligently points out that these two pillars, complementary but distinct, are not sufficiently assured. By clearly defining their specificities, he demonstrates how their synergy can found a model society and provide the foundations for sustainable progress. Through edifying examples, he highlights the deficit of basic education and advanced instruction, the behavioral drifts, bad language, lack of awareness of the public good, and the cult of unilateralism that hinder collective growth.''

This section also reveals that the causes of this crisis are identified: family failure, poverty, the archaism of public education, and administrative shortcomings. But far from a simple observation, the book offers clear avenues: placing women back at the center of educational strategy, rigorously managing human resources, and promoting quality education as the foundation of conscious citizenship and intellectual development.

heureusement qu'il en reste des intellectuels dans ce pays, des personnes qui produisent. L'éducation reste un sujet important d'autant qu'elle n'est pas la qualité la plus et mieux partagée au Sénégal
