Thiès : un directeur d’école frappe un enseignant
MD, the principal of an elementary school in Thiès, was fined 20,000 CFA francs for physically assaulting a teacher, MS, during an altercation.
The incident, which occurred during the 2024-2025 school year, began with an argument that escalated, reports L'Observateur.
According to the same source, MD admitted to hitting the teacher, claiming to have reacted to physical provocation.
The judge reminded the director of his duty to be exemplary and exercise restraint as the head of the establishment. MD expressed his regret and apologized, concludes the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group.
