Arrêté par la BRS de Dakar : un dealer obligeait ses clients à fumer sur place, son client <<Sa Thiès>> s'évade
Police officers from the Dakar Regional Narcotics Brigade under the OCRTIS arrested mason A. Mbengue, born in 1992, on Tuesday, December 16, around 1 p.m., in possession of 500 grams of Indian hemp divided into 17 cones and an open joint.
This arrest follows the exploitation of intelligence indicating the presence of a dealer named Alpha, very active in the trafficking of Indian hemp in the Grand Mbao area.
Based on this information, a surveillance operation was deployed to the location to conduct the investigation. One of the officers on duty then reported the suspect's presence at his home, in the middle of packaging and distributing drugs.
A disturbing detail: the dealer required his customers to consume alcohol on the premises.
The raid on his home led to the arrest of the suspect with 500 grams of Indian hemp, including 17 cones and a partially used joint spread on the ground, two mobile phones (one basic and a Tecno Spark), the sum of 3,500 CFA francs, as well as packaging material for the prohibited product.
The man named "Sa Thiès", without further details about his identity, one of his clients arrested at the scene, however managed to escape by climbing the perimeter wall according to Seneweb sources.
Under brief questioning, Alpha admitted to being the true owner of the seized drugs. He claimed to obtain his supplies either in the Keur Massar forest or in Pikine.
The drugs, cell phones, and money were seized and placed under seal. The suspect was taken into custody after being informed of his right to be assisted by legal counsel of his choice.
