And-Jef/PADS authentique contre l'effondrement des piliers de la République et la destruction accélérée de notre modèle social
“The massive, historic mobilization of October 31, 2025, organized by the FDR, reflects the widespread discontent caused, among other things, by economic anxiety, social suffering, youth anguish, rising incivility, and the erosion of freedoms.” This is the conviction of And-Jef/African Party for Democracy and Authentic Socialism (PADS).
According to its leaders, "the 20 months of the Diomaye-Sonko government will be remembered as a period of broken promises, wasted time, and a damaged democracy. The authoritarian policies implemented have caused an unprecedented decline in individual and collective rights, quality of life, and confidence in the future in Senegal."
“Senegal deserves better. Much better.” That is why, says And-Jef/PADS A, “the government must listen to the thousands of protesters, respond to the anger that is before our eyes, so that our country can quickly return to the path of progress and democratically build a future that unites all citizens.”
For the party members, “a project for Senegal cannot be built on fear or the suppression of democracy. It must be based first and foremost on republican values and nourished by sincere, open and responsible dialogue. Our compatriots are not waiting for empty speeches: they demand concrete, immediate and effective answers to their daily difficulties as well as a peaceful society, because it is founded on justice and fairness.”
They also regret "this hateful patriotism which does not work towards unity and appeasement, but which seems to have taken as its program to divide and incite citizens against each other."
As a founding member and integral part of the FDR, And-Jef/PADS A will always stand with those who fight against social dismantling, unfair dismissals, the relationship to work experienced as trauma and the multiple attacks on freedom of expression.
The leaders call on all FDR member organizations to act even more actively to achieve unity of action in the fight against the collapse of the pillars of the Republic and the accelerated destruction of our social model. They reiterate that the Senegalese people expect a vision of a country where life is good and a prospect of progress in the face of a harsh, unstable world characterized by simultaneous crises.

Découragé,il a quitté l'opposition pour un poste dans le gouvernement du Sénégal.
Les délices du pouvoir ont adouci dès lors son discours et l'homme n'était plus le même : des personnes moins connues que lui se sont manifestées hargneusement pendant que Macky martyrisait son peuple,lui volait ses deniers et dilapidait ses ressources.
