Assemblée nationale du Sénégal : Quatre projets de loi du ministère de la Justice à l’agenda des 25 et 26 août 2025

The Senegalese National Assembly will hold two important plenary sessions on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26, 2025, to examine four major bills introduced by the Ministry of Justice. These texts cover key areas such as the fight against corruption, asset declarations, whistleblower protection, and access to information.

Monday, August 25, 2025

9:00 a.m.: MPs will open the day by examining Bill No. 12/2025 on the creation of the National Anti-Corruption Office. This new body is expected to strengthen mechanisms for preventing, detecting, and punishing acts of corruption at all levels of government and public life.

3:00 p.m.: The afternoon will be devoted to Bill No. 15/2025 on asset declarations. This text aims to strengthen transparency in the management of public affairs and to make public office holders more accountable.

Tuesday, August 26, 2025

9:00 a.m.: Bill No. 13/2025 on the status and protection of whistleblowers will be submitted to MPs for consideration. This is a long-awaited bill aimed at protecting those who report corruption or poor governance.

3:00 p.m.: The day will conclude with Bill No. 14/2025 on access to information, a fundamental pillar for democracy and citizen participation.

« 15h00 : La journée se conclura avec le projet de loi n°14/2025 portant sur l’accès à l’information, un pilier fondamental pour la démocratie et la participation citoyenne.».

On va présenter un projet de loi pour l’accès à l’information, pendant qu’on met de journalistes en prison, pendant qu’on arrête l’aide à presse et pendant qu’on empêche les membres de son gouvernement à aller aux médias privés pour informer le peuple ?? Pas cohérent ni logique! Mais cela ne m’étonne pas puisqu’on est en Afrique !!!
