2026 Budget: Nearly 65 billion FCFA allocated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Budget 2026 : près de 65 milliards FCfa alloués au ministère des Affaires étrangères

On Saturday evening, members of parliament examined and adopted the draft 2026 budget of the Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad, totaling 64.9 billion FCFA, or 1% of the State's general budget estimated at 7,177 billion FCFA.

According to the allocation presented during the session, 61% of the budget (39.5 billion FCFA) will be dedicated to bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the ministry's main focus, while 17% (11.2 billion FCFA) will go towards governance and administrative management. The promotion of African integration will receive 11.5 billion FCFA (18%), and the management of consular affairs and the promotion of Senegalese citizens abroad will receive 2.6 billion FCFA, representing 4% of the budget.

The vote on this budget marks the beginning of the execution of the ministry's projects and programs for the year 2026.

Je ne sais si tout le monde est concernè mais moi vivant en Europe je vis le calvaire pour renouveler mon passeport impossible d avoir meme un simple rendez vous! elles ne servent a rien nos representations diplomatiques!

Je vous conseille cher compatriote de prendre RV avec le consulat a' Paris. Ils sont vraiment trop sympas et font leur boulot correctrment. Si tu leur explique la Situation, ils peuvent te le faire le meme jour. Je parle par experience propre. Seul Dieu m est temoin
