Dialogue national : Mamoudou Ibra Kane dénonce les contradictions du pouvoir
The president of the "Tomorrow is Now" movement, Mamoudou Ibra Kane, questions the consistency of the approach taken by the regime of Bassirou Diomaye Faye and Ousmane Sonko. In a post on X, he highlights the paradox of "vilifying former leaders" by accusing them of bearing some responsibility for the so-called "hidden" debt, while simultaneously inviting them to the National Dialogue as contributors to finding solutions to the economic and financial crisis.
According to him, this stance reflects a blatant contradiction. "The accusation was not solid," he believes, recalling that the President of the Republic recently met with former Prime Ministers as well as former Ministers of Finance and the Interior. This meeting brought back memories of the late Mamadou Moustapha Ba, former Minister of Economy and Finance.
Mamoudou Ibra Kane is calling for the rehabilitation of the deceased minister, which he considers a matter of justice and political consistency. "Come on, you two, don't be arrogant. It's a question of justice," he says to Diomaye and Sonko.
