Diomaye Faye reçoit en audience le président du conseil d’administration d’Ecobank
The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, received in audience this Thursday, September 18, Pape Madiaw Ndiaye, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, according to the presidency's account X.
Several areas of collaboration were discussed during this hearing, including direct financing of infrastructure projects and support for the private sector through targeted advisory and support services.
The Ecobank group, through its Chairman of the Board, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the government in implementing the "Senegal 2025" vision, which it describes as an "ambitious roadmap" for the sustainable and inclusive development of the country.
According to the note, the meeting is part of the strengthening of strategic partnerships between the State of Senegal and the players in the pan-African banking sector.
