El Malick Ndiaye s’en prend aux chroniqueurs, "coalition à l’hôtel zéro étoile"
National Assembly President El Malick Ndiaye responded to the issue of justice and the criticism of his actions. According to him, the slowness of justice is relative. "The victims and the population are hungry for justice. Their impatience inevitably clashes with the state's desire to do things properly," he explained, recalling that several investigations are underway.
However, the reports are no longer circulating as before, which, according to him, reflects the progress of justice. El Malick Ndiaye did not fail to point the finger at a category of journalists whom he accuses of unhealthy practices. "There are mercenaries of the pen who used to live off their blackmail, but that no longer works," he declared. He added that the latter were acting under the control of certain opponents, who "serve them up as cheese" and send them "to the coalface" to play a "shameless" and unconventional role. "These mercenaries of the pen must create a coalition at the zero-star hotel," he quipped, a clear allusion to prison.
While public opinion is demanding an acceleration of legal proceedings, some accuse the government of exploiting the justice system. For the President of the National Assembly, this contradiction proves that justice is indeed underway.
