Fii-Sénégal : Diomaye Faye dévoile une refondation pour un État fluide et fiable
At the opening ceremony of the Invest in Senegal Forum (Fii Senegal), President Bassirou Diomaye Faye placed structural reforms at the heart of his speech, affirming his desire to build an efficient, digitalized, and performance-oriented state. "A colossal project that involves the overhaul of the Investment, Tax, Labor, and Public Procurement Codes," he declared. "We have initiated major reforms to the legal and regulatory framework," President Faye emphasized, with the aim of cleaning up public finances, streamlining procedures, and restoring investor confidence.
The government has already adopted a national economic and social recovery plan, accompanied by a process of fully digitizing administrative procedures. The state now promises a "more fluid, more transparent, and more competitive" business environment, according to President Faye.
The new versions of the Investment Code, the General Tax Code, and the Customs Code have been finalized. By the end of the year, the Labor Code, the Social Security Code, and the Public Procurement Code will follow. APIX is spearheading this transformation through its digital one-stop shop. "We are not looking for simple investors, but true strategic partners," the Head of State stated.
