Guy Marius Sagna annonce le lancement du programme « SEN DÉPUTÉ » et adresse six questions écrites au gouvernement
MP Guy Marius Sagna announced, through an official publication, the imminent launch of his new citizen program entitled "SEN DÉPUTÉ", a space for direct dialogue between him and the Senegalese people he represents in the National Assembly.
This program, made up of several sections including "Allô Député", aims to report on its parliamentary activities, initiatives, positions on national issues and commitments made to citizens.
In the interest of transparency and accountability, Guy Marius Sagna reiterated that he had committed to conveying the public's concerns to the government. He announced that he had submitted six written questions on issues deemed to be priorities.
The MP calls on the Minister of Higher Education to address the difficulties encountered by holders of Master's degrees in maritime law awarded by the University of the Sahel, whose diplomas are no longer recognized in certain public competitions.
He asks the government to clarify the situation and to specify the measures envisaged for the official recognition of these diplomas.
Guy Marius Sagna questions the Minister of the Interior about the situation of police officers deployed in the Democratic Republic of Congo for almost two years. He wants to know the length of their mission, their working conditions, and the expected date of their return to Senegal.
The MP draws the attention of the Minister of Local Authorities to the end of PACASEN, a major local development program. He asks what measures are planned to preserve the achievements, whether there is a draft PACASEN 2, and what reforms are envisaged to strengthen the financial autonomy of municipalities.
Guy Marius Sagna addresses the Minister of Foreign Affairs regarding the situation of compatriots living in Lebanon, who are facing administrative difficulties due to expired passports. The passport commission's last mission was in April-May 2023, and Senegalese living abroad are urgently calling for a new mission.
The MP is questioning the Minister of National Education about the absence, for three years, of a science stream at the Mékhé village high school. He is asking for an explanation for this situation and wants assurances that students will be able to follow a science stream from the 2025-2026 school year.
Finally, Guy Marius Sagna drew the attention of the Minister of the Armed Forces to the persistent water shortages at the General Idrissa Fall military camp, where residents reported going several weeks without water. He requested an explanation for the cause of these disruptions and the measures to be considered for a lasting return to normal.
