Nominations de Cheikh Niang et de Me Bamba Cissé : Me Madicke Niang sort de sa réserve
The President of the Republic made two notable appointments in the recent government reshuffle. Ambassador Cheikh Niang was appointed Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs, and Senegalese Abroad, while Mouhamadou Bamba Cissé, former lawyer of Ousmane Sonko, was appointed Minister of the Interior and Public Security.
These choices were warmly welcomed by Mr. Madické Niang, former Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, who considers them to be wise decisions. Regarding Cheikh Niang, Mr. Madické Niang expressed his satisfaction: "I would like to welcome this appointment which, in my view, constitutes an excellent choice made for a man with remarkable qualities of competence and humanism, qualities which had convinced me to propose to President Abdoulaye Wade his appointment to his first post as ambassador to South Africa." He highlights Niang's rich career, marked by expertise in bilateral relations with countries of the South and North, as well as in multilateral relations, particularly in New York. "With his sufficiently extensive address book, he has all the skills to carry the torch of our diplomacy very high," he adds, accompanying his wishes for success with fervent prayers.
For Mr. Bamba Cissé, Mr. Madické Niang hails an "exemplary professional career": "This decision certainly marks the culmination of a career during which he has put his exceptional talents as a lawyer to the service of defending just causes and promoting civil and political rights and freedoms." He praises the rigor and finesse of this brilliant lawyer, convinced that he will strengthen Senegal's reputation as a "country of peace and freedom" in this strategic position. "I wish him every success, accompanied by my fervent prayers," he concludes.

Ce monsieur a planqué des milliards dans les banques senegalaises avec des sociétés ayant comme prête nom des marabouts.
Le monsieur s'est sucré sur les contrats miniers du temps de wade, c'est ce qui explique son retrait stratégique de la scène politique, pour bouffer l'argent detourné en toute quiétude, mais il oublie qu'il quittera ce bas monde et s'expliquera devant le tout puissant.
