Ousmane Barro: "Diomaye nioune nioko togn, les responsables Pastef doivent le respecter"
Ousmane Barro, Chief of Staff to President Diomaye Faye, was the guest of Seneweb's Special Interview. A leader of the Pastef party, he urged his colleagues to show more respect to the Head of State.
There is some good in the open disagreements between Ousmane Sonko and Diomaye Faye. This is the conviction of Ousmane Barro. The president's chief of staff believes that the tensions that have emerged in recent weeks can help clarify matters and move forward, even though he thinks Pastef should never have reached this point. Speaking to Mouhamed Diallo during a special interview with Seneweb, the Pastef member asked other leaders of Ousmane Sonko's party to show more responsibility when discussing Diomaye Faye.
"Diomaye Faye, we're the ones who caused him all this harm. He was quietly doing a great job for Ousmane Sonko. We found him in prison and told him that he was our candidate. That's where all his problems started. So, we owe Diomaye Faye respect. The Pastef leaders around Ousmane Sonko and the Political Bureau owe him respect for all his sacrifices. We were all there, and he's the one Sonko chose," he said, pointing the finger at leaders who are not, however, part of Pastef's core group.
Ousmane Barro also criticized certain political figures (from Pastef) who leaked false information regarding the meeting between Diomaye Faye and the Pastef political bureau after the clash with Sonko. "People who weren't present at this meeting have been saying inaccurate things. Diomaye Faye never said he deserved it (by being President of the Republic)," added the president's chief of staff.
Regarding the harsh criticisms of MP Cheikh Bara Ndiaye, Ousmane Barro remains silent. "The latter is not a member of Pastef," he states.

Diomaye doit respecter les sénégalais et arrêter de faire de la politique politicienne surtout dans la situation de crise dans laquelle le pays se trouve. Cela doit se matérialiser par :
1) Respecter ses promesses concernant la justice pour les crimes de sang et tortures pendant les événements de 2021 à 2024;
2) Mettre en œuvre le jub jubbal jubbanti par la reddition des comptes concernant les régimes de Wade et surtout maquis sale;
3) Né protéger aucune personne épinglée par un rapport des corps de contrôle ou soupçonné de malversations ;
4) Bannir la transhumance et lutter contre les lobbys prédateurs de nos ressources ;
5) Réduire le train de vie de l’état par laxisme rationalisation des agences et autres structures publiques budgétivores ;
6) Supprimer les caisses noires et les remplacer par des fonds spéciaux sous contrôle réglementé ;
7) S’occuper concrètement des problèmes des sénégalais au lieu de se projeter pour un 2ème mandat en 2029.
Diomaye n’a qu’à être loyal et honnête au lieu de jouer double jeu
