Ousmane Sonko à l'Assemblée nationale : "Il n'a pas respecté le calendrier" (Mbaye Dione)
The expected presence of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko at the National Assembly this Friday for a question-and-answer session has drawn reactions from the opposition. MP Mbaye Dione, Secretary General of the Alliance of Progressive Forces (AFP), expressed criticism regarding adherence to the parliamentary calendar.
Mbaye Dione made a direct criticism of the executive branch, highlighting the Prime Minister's delay in appearing before the national representation.
"He did not respect the schedule; he should have come to the Assembly at least three months ago," he stated on the sidelines of a visit to the Archbishopric of Dakar.
The opposition MP concluded by issuing a firm warning to the executive branch and the Prime Minister: "We will be waiting for him. We, the opposition MPs, will ask him the real questions that the Senegalese people want to hear."
