Pacte de stabilité sociale : Le Collectif des 44 agents du ministère de l'Énergie salue le geste du président Diomaye Faye
The group of 44 employees who have ceased their duties at the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum, and Mines commended President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye for his magnanimity and consideration in receiving and listening to the grievances of the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Senegal (CSA). This meeting was held within the framework of the Social Stability Pact signed on May 1, 2025.
The group is asking the head of state to ensure a cross-cutting and equitable application of the government's commitments to all sectors of activity, noting delays in addressing their grievances despite the signing of all decrees and orders aimed at their reintegration.
The collective praises and encourages the just and courageous position of the president of the High Council for Social Dialogue, Mamadou Lamine Dianté, advocating for respect for the commitments of the Social Pact.
Furthermore, the collective distances itself from any action plan other than that defined by the Trade Union Front for the Defense of Labor in Senegal (FDTS) and reaffirms its membership in the Coalition of Trade Union Federations.
Finally, the collective reiterates its call for solidarity from all employees of the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum and Mines to come and support their social struggles which have been ongoing for more than 20 months.
