« Quel manque de respect » : Le Collectif « Rappel à l'Ordre » se lance contre les « dérives » d'Ousmane Sonko
The "Rappel à l'Ordre" collective is speaking out following Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko's recent statement, severely criticizing his choice of priorities.
"After announcing with great fanfare an important declaration that everyone thought were proposals for ending the crisis, in this context where the Senegalese people are buckling under the burden of an unbearable life...", the collective is indignant.
The Call to Order denounces the fact that Ousmane Sonko "came out of a five-day hibernation under the pretext that he was tired, to serve us a program of reorganization of his party and a call for mobilization in anticipation of the electoral contests, despite his ineligibility until 2030."
The Collective's coordinator, Antigone Diop, doesn't mince her words: "What a lack of respect and consideration for the Senegalese men and women who brought them to power." She deplores the fact that the man "still indulges in the pursuit of personal calculations that are more a matter of political strategy than anything else," instead of focusing on the real concerns of the moment.
Leaders Deaf to the People's Distress
The Call to Order, faithful to its line of conduct, says it is convinced that it is only facing leaders who can only be led to understand the distress of the people through the balance of power.
Ms. Diop points out that many peaceful actions have been carried out (on the high cost of living, arbitrary detentions, violations of freedoms), but that all "seem to fall on deaf ears."
The group announced that it reserved the right to explore all legal avenues and means granted to it by the Constitution. Antigone Diop specified that the most appropriate actions would be presented to citizens in the coming hours to confront Ousmane Sonko.
And to warn the Prime Minister: "He must take this for granted, nothing will be too much political to stop him, if he persists in his authoritarian excesses. A word to the wise..."

Notre politique par rapport à la Guinée doit être claire: Même si un guinéen est né ici il doit pas avoir la nationalité sénégalaise, vu la facilité avec laquelle Ils entrent dans notre pays. Sinon ce serait le suicide collectif.
