[Récap’] Tera-meeting, giga-mobilisation, méga-attaques !
The rally organized by the Pastef party on Saturday, November 8, 2025, lived up to all expectations. The gathering, led by Ousmane Sonko (president of the ruling party and Prime Minister), was a resounding success in terms of mobilization. Tens of thousands of activists and supporters from all corners of Senegal (Dakar, Ziguinchor, Saint-Louis, Kolda, Sédhiou, etc.) converged on the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium in Dakar to answer the call of their leader, Ousmane Sonko. The parking lot of the Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium in Dakar, which was packed from the early hours of the morning—for a demonstration scheduled for 5:00 p.m.—was overflowing.
Waving flags and scarves in the colors of Senegal, Sonko's supporters displayed their enthusiasm and determination to renew their commitment to their leader despite the slow start observed in the implementation of the "project." This unprecedented show of force served as a platform for the Prime Minister to settle scores with the opposition, primarily former President Macky Sall, and also to launch a barrage of criticism at certain allies of dubious loyalty, as well as at some Supreme Court judges.
Dissolution of the APR, "hidden debt"
In a fiery speech, Ousmane Sonko—who, along with his government, is grappling with the challenge of a struggling economy—addressed the issue of the "hidden debt." He attacked those who deny this "hidden debt," arguing that they should be brought to justice. He also called for the dissolution of the Alliance for the Republic (APR), which he described as a conglomerate of criminals and embezzlers. According to Sonko, it is this heavy legacy left by Macky Sall that has brought the country to the brink of financial collapse, with a debt now estimated at over 130% of GDP.
This situation, in fact, prompted the implementation of the Economic and Social Recovery Plan (PRES) launched last year. Elaborating on the PRES measures, which are based on collective efforts, Sonko emphasized that they consist of taxing services that do not directly impact the lives of Senegalese citizens: gambling, tobacco, and alcoholic beverages. Turning to the issue of accountability and justice, the Pastef leader and head of government addressed the demands of thousands of activists calling for the acceleration of investigations into the political events (2021-2024) that resulted in more than 80 deaths. "If justice is not served, then no one should pay taxes," he declared.
Regarding political funds, Ousmane Sonko dismissed rumors that he benefited from a "slush fund" estimated at 9 billion CFA francs. He also referred his critics to President Diomaye's campaign platform on the issue of eliminating political funds, thus justifying the regime's continued commitment to its promises.
Attack against his disloyal allies
Some of Diomaye-Président's allies were not won over by the Pastef party leader's scathing indictment. "An ally who seeks to manipulate and divide Ousmane Sonko and Bassirou Diomaye Faye has no place in the government. He is not a sincere ally," he asserted, alluding to Environment Minister Abdourahmane Diouf, who had recently called for avoiding "victor's justice."
“Cases of overbilling have been discovered in a ministry. I therefore asked the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, to transfer the person in question to another department, pending full investigation of this matter,” reveals Sonko, who also mentions the case of another ally flagged by an IGE report for 2 billion CFA francs (Aminata Touré, former president of the CESE).
Alleged falling out with Diomaye
The Prime Minister finally addressed his relationship with the Head of State, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, which, according to rumors, is very strained. "There are some who think that my relationship with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye is going to deteriorate. In any case, anything can happen in life! Know that whatever ends our relationship will not come from me. And I hope that it will not come from President Bassirou Diomaye Faye either," he asserted.

J'espère que dans quelques jours, lorsque la poussière sera retombée, ces gens qui sont venus massivement auront cogité sur ce qu'ils ont entendus, peut-être qu'ils comprendront qu'on continue de les endormir !

Sonko est parvenu a rendre les sénégalais bêtes. La mentalité en tendance est devenu l idiotie généralisé. Le niveau de la gestion du pays est devenu catastrophique. Les débats d idées sont devenus de grand théâtre. L économie est a l arret. L anarchie a chaque metre. Les mensonges a la portée de tout le monde. L inquiétude dans chaque visage. La misère dans chaque famille. Le danger partout. La manipulation a tous les niveaux. La division dans tout le pays. Notre pays regresse dans tout et les sénégalais se comportent comme au moyen age avec une barbarie et un mysticisme qui est la marque certifié des pays sous développés.
Le rationnel comme le pragmatisme et la compétence sont mis derrière les commérages, les moqueries, les mafistations et les messages unitaires. Ce pays a besoin d stabilité et de niveaux élevés si nous voulons qu il change.

En espérant qu'il va dérouler sa solution et payer normalement les bourses des étudiants, réduire les produits alimentaires tout est cher avec les impôts sir tout produire. Diminuer le coût de l'essence et de l'électricité qu'il a annoncé récemment.
Vraiment on veut des actes rien que des réalisations plus de promesses plus de menaces plus de bla bla du CONCRET 2ans avec 0 bilan que des paroles ohhhhh dommage la montagne qui accouche d'une souris.
