Remaniement ministériel : Mankeur Ndiaye cite les qualités de Cheikh Niang
They took everyone by surprise. This Saturday, September 6, the Palace of the Republic was in turmoil behind the scenes due to a surprise cabinet reshuffle.
Among the new faces in this government, we note the presence of Cheikh Niang who takes the head of the Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs.
An appointment welcomed by one of his predecessors, Mankeur Ndiaye, who sent him a message on X. "My warm congratulations to my brother and friend Cheikh Niang, appointed Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs. A great, experienced diplomat, respected in his career. Every success and good luck. You have my full support," he wrote.
