He specifically recalls the commentator's positions on the "Jakaarlo" program, where, according to him, he distinguished himself as a staunch defender of the former regime, even going so far as to attack the opposition at the time, including the current president, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.

For Serigne Modou Habib Mbacké, this change of discourse reflects an "opportunistic political repositioning." He claims that Birima Ndiaye is now close to Amadou Ba and is seeking to settle political scores through "baseless" accusations.

In his text, Serigne Modou Habib Mbacké also questions the real motivations of certain attacks targeting Macky Sall, mentioning the "ingratitude" of several former supporters of the regime who, after having benefited from power, are now trying to distance themselves to preserve their political interests.
