TANDEM AT THE TOP OF THE STATE: Is Diomaye still Sonko?

For the past few days, things have been coming to light within the Sonko-Diomaye partnership. For some time now, voices have been questioning the harmony between President Diomaye and his Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko. Are Sonko and Diomaye still on the same page? In any case, recent events seem to suggest otherwise.

The alignment of the tandem at the top of the state has finally sown doubt. Hasn't "Sonko moy Diomaye, Diomaye moy Sonko" become an old slogan?

For days, both the government and the opposition have suspected a dispute between the head of state and the head of government, and some even expect a separation.

The clash between Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko and Minister Abdourahmane Diouf, an ally of the Diomaye-President coalition, could serve as proof. Despite his disagreement with Sonko and the serious accusations leveled against him, the leader of the Awalé party remains in the government, and his ministry has been strengthened by President Diomaye.

Following Sonko's statements at the November 8th rally, wouldn't the Head of State have dismissed Minister Abdourahmane Diouf, if Sonko is still Diomaye? Wouldn't the existence of a disagreement have emboldened Abdourahmane Diouf to quarrel with Sonko? All of this raises suspicions, even if the pair appear to maintain a harmonious relationship.

The existence of a dispute between Sonko and Diomaye could also be seen in the relationship between the Head of State and Aminata Touré, President Diomaye's High Representative. For days, Sonko and Mimi have been exchanging barbs. During the tera-meeting, the Prime Minister addressed Mimi's position within the Diomaye-President coalition. Sonko clarified that the sole coordinator of this coalition remains Aïda Mbodj and that Mimi holds no such role. Furthermore, he brought up the matter of the IGE report, which allegedly implicated Mimi Touré in misappropriation of 2 billion CFA francs during her time at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE).

Sonko had also declared that all those seeking to separate him from President Diomaye would be disappointed. Officials and activists from Pastef had even called for the resignation or dismissal of Abdourahmane Diouf and Mimi Touré.

Despite this, President Diomaye reportedly took a step today that strengthened Mimi's presence within the Diomaye-President coalition. Elected under this coalition's banner, Diomaye is said to have dismissed Aïda Mbodj, the previous coordinator, and appointed Aminata Touré in her place.

This decision by President Diomaye could be seen as a real act of defiance and the beginning of a separation.

Pour la première je reconnais que sonko s'est trompé en choisissant cet homme. À la place de sono je démissionne et je lui laisse son gouvernement. On verra bien comment il va se débrouiller

Vous nous amerder avec la politique et travailler. Depuis 2020 on a pas travailler au Sénégal des problème tous les jours. Un peuple feignant, bla bla seulement. Des bon a rien et vous voulez sortir de la pauvreté. Que ça soit le pouvoir ou l'opposition vous nous amerder à la fin avec vos querelles de merdre

Celui qui perdra tout dans cette affaire c'est Diomaye ! diomaye vient de signer sa mort politique, il ne finira même pas son mandat.

Sonko est allé trop loin le 8 novembre dernier. Faut jamais monter qu'on est trop fort. Humilité et Dieu nous Invite à ça lorsqu'il nous Donne un peu de pouvoir... éphémère sur terre . La forme certes ( popularité de Ousmane et Pastef) mais dans le Fond concret c'est Diomaye que Dieu et les Sénégalais ont élu.

L'intelligence doit parler ici... Je ne pense pas que Diomay soit aussi borné pour se mettre à dos PASTEF, maintenant à quoi il joue ? De toute façon celui qui risque de perdre ce ne sera certainement pas PROS. Wasalam

Diomay désavoue Sonko ouvertement après que Sonko accuse Mimi ,elle est promue ça veut tout dire .
Sonko doit démissionner et exclure Diomay président de Pastef et se présenter en 2029 on verra qui a la majorité au Sénégal
