The union branch of the Autonomous Union of Physicians, Pharmacists and Dental Surgeons of Senegal (SAMES) within the Senegalese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (ARP) has announced a 48-hour, non-renewable strike on Thursday, October 16 and Friday, October 17, 2025.

In an information note dated October 15 and addressed to the general director of the ARP, the union justifies this action by "deep dissatisfaction with the non-satisfaction of its demands."

However, the union emphasizes that it remains "available for any discussion aimed at finding a favorable outcome to this conflict."

SAMES/ARP recalls that this decision follows a notice filed on September 16, 2025.

Il fallait s'y attendre et ce Directeur avec ses sous-fifres, incompétents jusqu'aux os, risquent de conduire l'agence directement dans l'abîme. De plus, les autorités ont intérêt à y lancer un audit, il s'y passerait des choses pas très catholiques.
