Kédougou : Un cultivateur de "yamba" arrêté par l'OCRTIS, 30 plants saisis
The Kédougou Regional Narcotics Brigade, part of the OCRTIS, arrested baker S. Kanté on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, after being found in possession of 30 plants of Indian hemp. He was discreetly growing the drug in a field near his home. A police check revealed the scam. The suspect, born in 1970, was taken into custody. He is being prosecuted for growing Indian hemp for trafficking purposes and for alleged money laundering, according to Seneweb sources.
