Lutte contre les débits de boisson clandestins : une opération du GARSI2 aboutit à une importante saisie à Bougouda.
As part of the fight against insecurity and illegal activities, GARSI elements carried out a control operation on the night of Wednesday 18 to Thursday 19 February 2026, between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m.
Deployed to an outpost in the village of Gamba Gamba, the GARSI2 detachment dismantled an illegal bar located in the town of Bougouda. This operation is part of a series of actions aimed at strengthening security and regulating unauthorized commercial activities in the area.
The operation resulted in the seizure of several alcoholic beverages as well as sound equipment used on the premises. The report states:
• 32 cans of Gody's
• 20 bottles of Doppel Munich
• 7 bottles of Beaufort
• 8 bottles of Castel
• 4 bottles of Munich
• 04 cans of 3X
• 01 baffle
• 01 amplifier
Simultaneously, security forces conducted identity and traffic checks. In total, 24 people and 13 motorcycles were checked, with the aim of preventing any suspicious activity.
According to security sources, these operations will continue in several localities in order to combat clandestine drinking establishments, often associated with public order disturbances.
This action by GARSI2 confirms the authorities' commitment to maintaining vigilance in sensitive areas and strengthening the security presence to guarantee the safety of the population.
