Petite Côte : 113 interpellations lors d’une vaste opération de sécurisation
A large-scale security operation was conducted on the night of November 7-8 along the Petite Côte, particularly in Saly, Ngaparou, and Somone. From 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the National Police and the Gendarmerie carried out checks and patrols to reinforce the safety of residents and visitors.
Placed under the supervision of the Minister of the Interior, the operation mobilized 253 agents (135 police officers and 118 gendarmes) and 27 vehicles, ensuring a reinforced presence on sensitive points.
In total, 113 people were arrested: 86 for identity checks, 20 for public intoxication, 5 for illegal residency, 1 for investigative purposes, and 1 for possession of a bladed weapon. Security forces also seized 92 administrative documents, impounded 16 vehicles, and immobilized 42 motorcycles, resulting in 171,000 CFA francs in fixed fines.
During the night, the Minister of the Interior visited several strategic points in Saly and Somone, praising the professionalism and coordination of the units involved.

Certains ont des mandats d'arrêts européens et se sont terrés dans cette localité car recherchés souvent pour trafic de drogue et crime. , ils ménent en toute liberté des activités immobilières ( contrôle des entreprises et des identités des propriétaires doivent faire parti de la mission de protéger tout acquéreur ) . Souvent ce sont des gros escrocs issus du grand banditisme qui savent repérer leurs proies .
Les vrais bandits et cambrioleurs sont des sénégalais.
Pour que ces opérations soient efficaces, il faut qu'elles soient menées régulièrement
