1re journée Ligue 1 : Jaraaf et HLM se neutralisent
The Senegalese Ligue 1 championship kicked off with the exciting match between Jaraaf and HLM, which unfortunately ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a fast-paced game full of twists and turns, especially in the first half.
From the opening minutes, both teams played with abandon. It was the visitors, ASC HLM, who opened the scoring in the 12th minute, thanks to Ibrahima Dione, well-positioned to finish off a fine team move.
Jaraaf responded immediately and were awarded a penalty in the 21st minute, but captain Fallou Fall missed his attempt. Ten minutes later, another opportunity arose for the Medina side: a second penalty was awarded, this time converted by Mbaye Ndiaye (28th minute), allowing Jaraaf to equalize.
In the second half, the pace remained high. Both teams launched attack after attack. And despite substitutions on both sides, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, a logical result given the flow of the game.
A very good opening match which suggests a hard-fought and promising season for both teams.
