Transfert : Mamadou Lamine Camara toujours bloqué au Maroc
Senegalese international Mamadou Lamine Camara, who was reportedly close to joining Al-Ahli Tripoli in Libya, has had his transfer suspended. Renaissance Sportive de Berkane has filed a complaint with FIFA to contest the terms of the deal, arguing that the release clause was not activated according to the rules.
The Libyan club, for its part, cites administrative delays that prevented the registration of the transfer before the closing of the transfer window. As a result, the Senegalese African champion, under contract until 2027, is in a bind and is no longer playing for the Moroccan club.
Pending FIFA's decision, the case remains frozen, while Al Ahly closely monitors the situation.
This impasse comes at the worst possible time for the young midfielder, just days before the friendly matches of the Senegalese national team.
