Louga :Fin de la longue pause pluviométrique
After a long rain break, the sky reopened its floodgates yesterday Friday night across the entire territory of the Louga region.
From Kébémer to Linguère via Louga, the region recorded heavy rains, providing relief to the farming community and breeders who no longer knew which way to turn.
The grass cover and flowering crops were almost yellowed due to the long rainfall break, which could negatively impact agricultural yields.
Some herders had already migrated to Fouta or Saloum with their cattle in search of pastures.
Hope has been reborn among farmers and breeders since this morning with the return of rain.
