Injured against Benin and substituted at halftime, Iliman Ndiaye is not in the matchday squad this Saturday. The Lions' striker is unavailable for this round of 16 match against Sudan. Ndiaye suffered an ankle injury.
Pape Thiaw hopes his player will be fully recovered if Senegal reaches the quarter-finals. Ismaïla Sarr has been chosen to replace him on the right flank. Ibrahim Mbaye, a valuable substitute for Pape Thiaw, could also come on in the second half.
