Tensions are running high again in the polygamous marriage of Nigerian actress Regina Daniels.

His Moroccan co-wife, Laila Charani, posted a series of shocking accusations on Instagram that quickly set social media ablaze.

According to Laila, Regina introduced her to drugs six years ago, a period which, she says, nearly destroyed her marriage to politician and businessman Ned Nwoko. She also claims that the actress was never financially generous with her, contrary to what Regina allegedly implies.

Laila goes even further: she accuses Regina of giving narcotics to the household staff and even to her own sister.

But the most troubling accusation concerns the actress's private life:

"You were sleeping with all the girls around you. That's why I will never leave my daughters alone with you," she wrote.

She also points out that, according to her, Ned Nwoko "hates drugs, alcohol and tobacco", and implies that the tensions in the home stem from Regina's refusal to change her behavior.

Regina Daniels' response

Regina Daniels, 25, was quick to respond. On her social media, she firmly denies all the accusations and claims that Laila's statements are "hurtful and false".

She said she was particularly hurt by the idea that she would not be fit to take care of children.

Regarding the rumors of homosexuality, she responds ironically:

"Sleeping with someone of the same sex isn't shameful. But how can Laila be so sure? Is it because I slept with her too?"

Regina also mentions Laila's son, implying that he may have exhibited "unacceptable" behavior. She concludes by asking her husband to protect their children, stating that their safety is his priority.

A new chapter in a long history of tensions

This is not the first time the Nwoko couple has found themselves at the center of a scandal. Ned Nwoko's polygamous marriage has often been marked by rivalries between wives and conflicts that have been publicly aired.
