Concerned about the future of the nation and passionate about economic issues, we are granted the patriotic right to magnify the unprecedented and historic performance achieved by the Senegalese Customs in 2025.
Indeed, for the past fiscal year, customs clearance reached a record amount of 1,618.1 billion. Several factors explain this achievement, including the accelerated regularization of revenue from petroleum product imports and improved control over the tax base for revenue-generating products. One cannot discuss the factors contributing to this performance without mentioning the leadership of Director General Babacar Mbaye.
In record time, he managed to take control of this essential, even vital, pillar of the national economy, imprinting it with a rigorous, effective, and efficient approach that has withstood the test of time. The Director General of Customs' greatest achievement was to foster the team spirit that Andrew Carnegie defined as the ability to work together toward a shared vision. "It's the fuel that allows ordinary people to achieve extraordinary results." It is in this spirit that we must commend the decisive contribution of the regional directorates, particularly the Central Regional Directorate (DRC). Indeed, despite a challenging business environment and structural constraints, the director, through his foresight, transparency, and resilience, has inspired his team to achieve its objectives. Customs in the Central region is poised to significantly exceed these targets this year, especially with revenue-generating products. It covers the strategic areas of the Dakar-Bamako corridor, the border with The Gambia, Kaolack and Kaffrine, and a portion of the Atlantic coast with the offices in Karang Keur Ayib and Diourbel. Such economic potential and the regional director's determination to drive unprecedented performance are key factors.
At a time when the country's new authorities are advocating for a promising economic sovereignty in many respects, the more than satisfactory results of Senegalese customs deserve to be praised and, above all, encouraged. If only as a matter of civic duty. It was this very exercise that a Senegalese citizen, satisfied with her customs service, spontaneously undertook.

depuis 2021, une interconnexion Gaindé et le systeme de dpworld a permis d'automatiser entièrement l'enlevement des conteneurs en import au Sénégal.
l'attente que nous faisions de plusieurs jours, se fait aujourd'hui en quelques minutes depuis la plateforme GAINDE et DPWORLD.
En décembre 2025, le DG des douanes a lancé la digitalisaiton complete de l'export avec l'interconnexion des systemes GAINDE pour les demandes d'embarquement avec celui de DPWORLD.
Nous faiisons au moins 10 à 15 bureaux pour des signatures, aujourd'hui la procédure digitale a été completement repensé et facilité.
je suis convaincu que nous atteindre la barre des 1500 milliards dans les 2 prochaines années.
Je félicite de passe toute l'équipe IT de DPWORLD et la DSID qui ont mis en place depuis quelques années des solutions modernes digitales qui ont simplifié notre quotidien et on largement améliorer la compétitivité du port.
Grace a ce travail en parti, le port a été nommé 1er port d'afrique de l'ouest
Ce qu prouve qu'on a intérêt à faire redémarrer la production et l'industrie locale pour que cette argent reste au pays.
Il n'y a rien à pavoiser sur ces chiffres pour un pays qui aspire à l'émergence.
2025 ça devrait être 2100 milliard et 2026 dsns dsns les 3000milliard et la croissance á 2 chiffres
